About the Range

Empower your structural testing with elite instrumented hammers

Unlock the potential of your structural testing with our exceptional lineup of impact hammers. Designed to deliver precision in impact testing, Kemo's instrumented hammers cover applications from modal analysis and crack detection through to large-scale civil and aerospace structures.

Harnessing IEPE technology, our instrumented hammers integrate seamlessly with off-the-shelf data acquisition systems (DAQ). IEPE (Integrated Electronics Piezoelectric) means the dynamic force sensor in each hammer head contains a miniaturised circuit board providing piezoelectric charge-to-voltage conversion and signal amplification. For additional gain or filtering, see our dedicated IEPE signal conditioning range.

Each hammer kit is thoughtfully curated, featuring a variety of hammer tips to accommodate different excitation frequencies. With a sturdy 2 m cable terminating in a BNC plug, and housed within a durable carry case, our hammers are primed for mobility and convenience on site.

Explore the range — from the VTH50 with a 50 N range up to the robust VTH50KN with a staggering 50,000 N range — each with a sensitivity tailored to its measurement scale. Pair them with our IEPE accelerometers for a complete modal analysis chain.
